A Common Vision of a New America

The Purpose of Government

We see an America:

whose Government and Public Institutions are Just and Humane, and whose Purpose is to Benefit and Improve the Lives of All the People;
whose Leaders are Representatives of the People, elected by the People, and serving for the Benefit of All the People;
whose Constitution, Elected Representatives, Laws, Supreme Court, and Justice System all serve to Protect and Defend the People’s Rights and Liberties, for the Benefit of All the People.

End of Party Rule

We see an America:

whose Nation is Ruled by the People – not by two political parties;
whose Form of Government derives its Just Powers from the Consent of the People – not from the consent of two political parties;
whose Form of Government lives up to the immortal words of Abraham Lincoln: “Government of the People, by the People, for the People” – not government of the party, by the party, for the party;
whose Form of Government is a Democratic Republic that Unites the People – not a two-party political duopoly that divides them;
whose Constitution, Elected Representatives, Laws, Supreme Court, and Justice System serve to Protect and Defend Our Rights and Our Liberties – not the tyranny of two political parties;
whose Representatives are Elected by the Will of the People – not by the will of two political parties;
whose Supreme Court Justices make Unprejudiced Non-partisan Decisions based on the Collective Wisdom of the Court– as opposed to prejudiced partisan decisions based on personal political ideology;
whose People are United by a Common Vision – not divided by the destructive effects of two-party rule;
whose People have the Courage to Free Ourselves from the Bonds of two-party rule that prevents us from Reaching our Fullest Potential;
whose People have the Fortitude to take away the Keys to Government from the political parties and Restore them once again to their Rightful Owners – the American People.

Ethics of Elected Representatives

We see an America:

whose Elected Representatives Never Lie to the People they Represent;
whose Elected Representatives Perform their Duties with Dignity, Honor, and Integrity;
whose Elected Representatives Treat their Constituents as well as their Competitors with Dignity, Respect, and Human Decency;
whose Elected Representatives are Dedicated to the Purpose of Working Together to Solve Problems – not becoming the problem;
whose Elected Representatives are Justly and Fairly Compensated for their Services, and therefore shall seek no money and enjoy no benefit more than that which the People have Justly Granted – and that doing so shall be considered an act of greed;
whose Elected Representatives are assigned certain Duties and Responsibilities by the People, and therefore shall seek no power more than that which the People have Justly Granted – and that doing so shall be considered an abuse of power;
whose Elected Representatives Say what they Mean, Do what they Say, and Mean what they Do.

Electoral System

We see an America:

whose Constitution ensures that Every Lawful Citizen, having attained legal age, has the Unalienable Right to Vote for their Elected Representatives;
whose Constitution ensures that Congress shall make no law that denies, restricts, impedes, or otherwise disenfranchises or infringes upon the Unalienable Right to Vote for Elected Representatives to any of its Lawful Citizens;
whose Constitution ensures One Person, One Vote;
whose Constitution ensures that the Unalienable Right to Vote for our Elected Representatives belongs Only to the People, and shall not extend to non-citizens, organizations or associations such as corporations or political parties, government institutions or bodies such as electors or state legislatures, or any other human or non-human entity for the purpose of supplanting the Will of the People;
whose Constitution Abolishes the Electoral College;
whose Constitution ensures that the Popular Vote of the Majority of the People Always Wins;
whose Constitution ensures that whenever three or more candidates are on the Ballot, a system of Ranked Choice Voting is used to determine the Most Popular Candidate Elected by the Majority of the People;
whose Constitution ensures that Every Vote Counts and Every Vote Is Counted;
whose Constitution ensures that Political Parties are not allowed to Control and Manipulate the Electoral Levers of Power for their Own Benefit, including manipulation through gerrymandering, manipulation through voter suppression tactics, and manipulation through electors and state legislatures for the purpose of supplanting the Will of the People;
whose Constitution ensures that All Voter Registrations and All Ballots are physically Free of, and Untainted by, Political Party Influence, and that therefore Party Affiliation – just as Religious Affiliation – shall Never Appear on any Voter Registration or any Ballot;
whose Constitution ensures that every Candidate Running for Federal Office must Swear an Oath of Candidacy that they will Campaign on Behalf of All of the People within their constituency, and therefore must not belong to any political party for the duration of their campaign;
whose Constitution ensures that every Representative Elected to Federal Office must Swear an Oath of Office to Represent All of the People within their constituency, and therefore must not belong to any political party for the duration of their term in office;
whose People are Honored and Proud to fulfill their Sacred Duty to Vote.

Equality

We see an America:

whose Constitution ensures that all People are Equal in the Eyes of the Government and Before the Law, and shall be served without discrimination and without regard to any Difference of any kind, including skin color, gender, sexual preference, religion, ethnic background, national origin, language, impairment, income, wealth, political status, marital status, immigration status, or any other distinction;
whose People Reject and Repudiate any form of racial, ethnic, gender, orientation, class, or religious Supremacy.
